At First Stop we will help anybody over the age of sixteen in any way that we can. We treat every person as an individual and tailor our services to meet their needs. Whether someone is engaged with us for a five week course, or continues to attend the centre for years, we will strive to meet their needs ourselves and if they require a service we do not supply we will help them to find the necessary help from other agencies.
There are no boundaries to the type of people we see, although there are certain groups of people who gain most from our services. These include;
- Those who have a history of mental health
- Those who have learning disabilities
- Substance misusers
- The homeless
- Single parents
- Senior citizens
How to Get Our Help and Referrals
You can engage in our services without the need of a referral from an outside agency, although we do work closely with other agencies in order to offer the most support to each individual. To see what agencies we regularly work with please look at the page Partner agencies
To refer yourself all you need to do is contact us. This can be by telephone, e-mail or you can just come down to the centre to see us in person!
